The District Administration, Shimla, has invited applications from retired willing and eligible revenue officials for re-engagement on vacant posts of Tehsildars, Naib-Tehsildars, Kanungos and Patwaris in the district on a remuneration basis.
Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, stated that the re-engagement shall be made against vacant posts in accordance with the prescribed terms and conditions. Interested retired officials fulfilling the eligibility criteria may submit their applications in the prescribed format.
He informed that the detailed terms and conditions, eligibility criteria and application format are available in the advertisement issued vide Notice No. SML-EA(474)/Misc.-171175 dated July 23, 2026. The advertisement has also been uploaded on the official website of the District Administration, Shimla, at http://hpshimla.nic.in for the convenience of applicants.
The Deputy Commissioner further informed that the last date for submission of duly filled application forms, along with all relevant supporting documents and certificates, is August 3, 2026. Applications received after the prescribed date or found incomplete in any respect shall not be entertained.
Eligible retired officials have been advised to submit their applications well before the last date to avoid any inconvenience.
