Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal said that Hamirpur district was established on this day in 1972. He said the hardworking and talented people of Hamirpur have played a significant role in taking the district forward and bringing recognition to it across Himachal Pradesh and the country.
Prof Dhumal said that Hamirpur has long been known for its achievements in education and sports. He expressed confidence that Hamirpur would continue its journey of progress and achieve new milestones in the years ahead.

Over the decades, the district has witnessed significant progress across sectors, while its people have earned recognition through their hard work, talent and determination.
Anurag Singh Thakur said that the people of Hamirpur have always given priority to development, and every section of society has contributed to the district’s growth. He said that it is the collective responsibility of all citizens to preserve Hamirpur’s proud legacy and work together towards the continued development and a brighter future for coming generations.
