Shimla, August 28, 2026: Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with warmth and traditional fervour in Shimla as women from different walks of life tied Rakhis on the wrist of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on the auspicious occasion of the festival today.
The women extended their heartfelt greetings and good wishes to the Chief Minister, while expressing the spirit of affection, respect and brotherhood associated with Raksha Bandhan. Chief Minister Sukhu also conveyed his warm wishes to the women on the festive occasion.
