It is a pleasure to inform you that Mera Yuva Bharat Shimla, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India is organizing National Youth Parliament 2026-27. National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) has been organised annually since 2019 to provide a platform for young voices in India. As India’s youth are not just the beneficiaries of development but also the architects of its future. TheYouth Parliament has been re imagined and expanded, aligning with the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision to prepare a new generation of dynamic, solution-oriented and policy-aware youth leaders.
The event starts at District Level, from District 3 winners will advance to State Level and subsequently 3 winners from each state will represent their states at national level in the central hall of the parliament, New Delhi from 9-10 January 2027, where participants will engage in high-level discussions and activities, including Question Hour, master classes, a simulated parliamentary experience, a visit to the New Parliament to witness the live proceedings of the Budget session, a visit to the Prime Ministers’Sangrahalaya,and an award ceremony.
VBYLD (Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue-National Youth Festival) is a flagship national platform for youth leadership and civic engagement that brings together promising young leaders from across the country to deliberate on national priorities, exchange innovative ideas, interact with policymakers, domain experts and eminent personalities and contribute towards the realization of the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
Recognizing the continued relevance of parliamentary simulations as one of the most effective methods for promoting democratic participation and policy literacy, this year, the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament has been planned to be organized as part of VBYLD.So all the National Level participants will also get a chance to participate in the BYLD (Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue-National Youth Festival) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi from 10-12 January 2027.
The integration of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament within VBYLD represents a significant evolution in approach to youth engagement.Rather than functioning solely as a competitive event, the programme will become a comprehensive leadership development initiative that nurtures constitutional values, democratic participation, public policy understanding, critical thinking, innovation and collaborative leadership.It will provide young citizens with opportunities not only to debate issues of national importance but also to develop practical solutions, build leadership competencies.
Terms and conditions-

4.This is not a debate, rather each participant needs to come on stage and deliver a 3 minutes speech on the topic-One Nation-One Election
